An Effective Therapy
STMs are used to increase the range of motion, decrease perceived stiffness, and reduce trigger points and myofascial pain. These techniques can be used before certain rehabilitation and physical therapy exercises to promote optimal movement and motor output.
Reviews from Students
"the lessons and videos were great to digest all of the information and see the theory in practise. Each lesson had a really good structure and had so much detail packed into each section, but it wasn't overwhelming. It was easy to follow and put into practise with the addition of the videos."

"This was a fantastic set of instructions, tips and techniques. Looking forward to using them in my practice. I enjoy your teaching style, definitions, content, and then videos."

"I found this course very educational and useful to my practice. I am also an Athletic trainer and incorporate my education into my massage and body work practice. I enjoy your perspective and knowledge."
-Rachel P.
"I am studying massage now for half a year with a combination of live workshops and online classes and I found this class very useful due to a methodic approach to the muscles, their functions and treatment approaches. I took some courses on udemy before and either they were too complicated as they required a deep knowledge of anatomy or were just too shallow with no medical references at all, like "and now we massage a leg". So this course is a perfect combo of human anatomy and practical knowledge that I can apply right away."

What are Soft Tissue Mobilizations?
Soft Tissue Mobilization (STM) is an umbrella term used to describe manual, hands on techniques that manipulate and promote the movement of the soft tissues such as fascia, muscles, tendons, etc.
You will see the term applied to many different forms of manual therapy, however, we focus on the utilization of movement, both active and passive, during the manual manipulation of tissue.
