About Your Instructor

My name is Kasie Tedrick, I'm a Licensed Manual and Massage Therapist and Instructor and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

When I first got into Manual Therapy, I realized that the standard education of massage therapists fails to teach how basic physiology and kinesiology can be used to create a better therapy for the body.

It's my goal to bring more kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology education into the massage therapy industry and teach therapists how it can better their services.

Improved Mobility

Effective soft tissue care can immediately increase active range of motion and imporve movement quality. Better mobility improves our ability to train strength at end ranges, decreasing the risk of injury.

Faster Healing

Manual techniques stimulate fluid dynamics, helping to improve the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the tissue and stagnant metabolites out of the tissue. This reduces inflammation, encourages faster healing, and boost overall cellular function.

Decreased Pain

Manual and massage therapy produces numerous neuroendocrine substances and nervous system responses, temporarily decreasing the intensity of pain and discomfort for the client.

As an Educator

I'm on the front lines of massage and manual therapy education, teaching kinesiology to students and interns working towards their licenses and creating continuing education seminars for licensed therapists to maintain their credentials.

I provide free educational content on Instagram, with a following of over 180,000 people. My goal is to bring evidence-informed techniques to the world of massage and manual therapy and provide a more integrative care approach.

I hope Massage Therapists will be stationed at every gym, physical therapy office, sports team, and health clinic because I believe in the efficacy of touch therapy.
