This course is designed to educate massage therapists on recommending self-care techniques to clients for common conditions. Adjacent professions such as yoga instructors, pilates instructors, fitness trainers, and sports coaches may also benefit from this course. Self-care techniques within this course include self-soft tissue mobilizations and PNF stretches. Students will learn how to educate clients on the importance of managing their condition, clinical conversations to stay within the scope of practice, and how each self-care technique could be helpful to the client's primary complaint.
